I was very disappointed in the service I received from pep boys. I purchased 4 tires and noticed a sound from one of the tires. I made the assumption they were new and the noise would go away. After several months, the noise was worse. I went to Pep boys in Morrisville NC and asked them to look at the tires. At that time they replaced 1 tire stating they heard some sort of noise. After a few more weeks I returned to Pep Boys, left my car for the day, upon my return Howard the manager explained they could not find anything wrong. Up until this point I trusted what I was being told, and there were no additional charges. I then took my car to my regular mechanic and asked that he look at my tires. The found a flat spot on the tire. I then returned to Pep boys explaining this. At that point they acknowledged the tire was bad, but claimed it was caused by me. I was had no choice but to replace the tire. I find it very disappointing I had to make 3 separate trips to have an issue repaired, that I believe should have been handled the first time.

Took wheels in to have tires put on, waited about an hour after my appt., got home to notice my BMW rims had gouges in them to the bare metal at the center point where the rim goes on the machine! Those rims are $700+ each and they gouged both! I want Corporate to call me.

Howard provided outstanding service from start to finish. He went above and beyond to help me find the exact tires I wanted, even though they were difficult to locate. Throughout the entire process, he kept me informed, communicated consistently, and followed through on everything he promised. I had quite a few questions, and Howard took the time to answer every one of them thoroughly. Since I had lifted my Bronco two inches, I wanted to be certain the new tire size would be the perfect fit, and he helped ensure I got exactly what I needed. On top of that, the installation was completed faster than I expected. We've always used Pep Boys' competitors in the past, but the exceptional service Howard provided has completely changed my perspective. Thanks to this experience, Pep Boys has earned my future business. Highly recommended!

I visited Pep Boys yesterday, and even though they didn’t have any appointments or walk-ins available at first, they were very kind and accommodating when I requested help. The service was excellent, and I really want to thank Howard — he was very nice, professional, and genuinely kind. I truly appreciate the great service and positive experience. Highly recommend this location!

Avoid this place! I had my Mazda’s throttle body replaced here which cost me over $1000. After one week check engine light came on due to throttle body problems. I went back since the repair is supposed to be under warranty they were supposed to replace it again. They said it’s an electrical problem and only dealer can fix it. I did not take their word. I watched a few YouTube videos, ordered a new throttle body from amazon and in 1.5 hours replaced their faulty throttle body they put in just a week before. Now the car is working fine and check engine light is gone. I regret going here. Don’t make the same mistake. Interacted with Howard who is a mechanic there but he had a “don’t care” attitude the whole time. I was charged over $500 for part and 3 hours of labor. While I bought the part for $150 myself and did the replacement in half of that time, and I am not a mechanic.
